For Operators Who Run on Equipment

Know every machine.
Save every day.
Bill every hour.

Your iron works hard for you. It should tell you when it's running, where it walked off to, and what it needs before it goes DOA on Tuesday. EquipSense puts every mower, skid steer, and walk-behind on one screen.

01 — The Problem

You run a business on equipment you can't see.

Everyday, you're making decisions about machines that didn't tell you what they did yesterday, last week, last month — what ran, what's missing, what's about to break. That's not a data problem. That's a money problem.
$235M
Lost to equipment theft / year

Across U.S. landscaping, agriculture, and construction — equipment that never reports it left. A skid steer walks off the lot on a Friday. Nobody sees it until Monday morning at rollout.

Up to 25%
Of fleet hours, unbilled

Your crews run hard. Your invoices don't always show it. Hours get logged off memory — what the foreman thought happened Wednesday by Friday afternoon. The gap quietly drains your margin.

12mo
Of equipment value, gone

Preventable downtime and missed service eat 12–18% of an asset's value every year. You see the repair bill. You don't see the Tuesday a $400 service became a $1,800 hydro pump.

A zero-turn runs eight hours and the invoice says six.A trencher goes home with a crew member on Friday and isn't back Monday. A skid steer needs service today, but you'll find out next week — when it stops in the middle of a job.

02 — What You Get

The answers your iron never gave you.

Three things you'll have that you didn't before — without training your crew, or hiring someone to read dashboards.
01 · Know

Where every machine is. Right now.

Open the app. Every unit on one map. The mower that should be at Greystone? You'll see it. The skid steer that should've been back at the yard? You'll see that too. No phone tag with foremen. No spreadsheet at week's end.

Service alerts hit your phone the moment something needs attention — not the moment it goes DOA in the middle of a Tuesday job. Plan the fix on your schedule, not the machine's.

For every hour you actually ran.

Your invoice tells the same story your equipment did. No more "I think we were there about six hours." No more crew leaders trying to remember Wednesday by Friday. Real hours, accurately billed, every job.

03 — Product

Stick it on. We handle the rest.

One small device per machine — peel-and-stick, no wiring, no teardown, no IT setup. The hardest part of installation is finding a clean spot on the deck.
For every machine in your fleet

Built tough enough that you forget it's there.

Once it's on the machine, it just works. No charging, no syncing, no operator app. Each unit reports through dust, rain, wash downs, summer heat, and whatever the crew throws at it.

04 — Who It's For

If your business runs on iron, we built this for you.

Built for the operators who run on iron they can't see — across landscape, hardscape, pool, and multi-site fleet operations. Different rigs. Same Monday-morning problem.
We built this for
Commercial
landscapers.
You run crews across multiple sites and a trailer-load of small engines. Your biggest line item isn't payroll — it's the cost of not knowing which machine is where, what it did today, and what it needs tomorrow.
$50k – $500k Equipment Value
We built this for
Hardscape
installers.
Smaller fleets, higher unit values. A single skid steer or compactor is six figures and the backbone of every job. You can't afford to lose one. You can't afford a Tuesday breakdown either.
$100k – $1M Equipment Value
We built this for
Pool
installers.
Excavators, compactors, pumps, and trailers — constantly moving between residential job sites. Know which one is where, who's using it, and whether the runtime your foreman reported matches what actually happened.
$75k – $500k Equipment Value
We built this for
Multi-site
fleet managers.
You manage equipment across multiple business units, regions, or franchise locations. You need one screen for every machine — not seventeen different spreadsheets emailed in late on Friday.
$1M+ Equipment Value
05 — The Math

Run your numbers.
Conservatively.

Set your rig shape below. We'll estimate what you'll recover in a year across iron you don't lose, repairs you catch early, downtime that doesn't kill jobs, and admin time you stop spending.

Estimates are conservative, based on what operators actually lose every year to walk-offs, panic-fix repairs, Tuesday breakdowns, and admin chasing. Your number depends on how disciplined your shop already is and how hard your rigs run. We'll build your real number with you during the pilot.

07 — About

Built in Birmingham, for the operators we know.

We started EquipSense because we kept hearing the same story from neighbors running landscaping and hardscape businesses across the Birmingham metro — and then from operators across the Southeast doing the same kinds of work. The work was happening, but the data describing it kept getting lost on the way home.

Operators around here say it best: you're always one breakdown away from a bad week. We built EquipSense because the gap between when iron is about to fail and when you actually find out is where real money slips through. Not theoretical money. Friday-route money. Tuesday-job-killer money.

A skid steer that walked off the lot on a Friday. A mower that ran eight hours and got billed for six. A breakdown that could've been a Saturday tune-up instead of a Tuesday job-killer. The pattern wasn't a tech problem — it was a visibility problem. So we built something to fix it.

EquipSense is a member of the gener8tor gBeta accelerator in Mobile, AL, with pilot partnerships launching across Birmingham and the Southeast in Summer 2026. We build from here, ship from here, and answer the phone here.

08 — Frequently Asked

The honest answers.

Real questions from real conversations during our discovery phase. If yours isn't here, just ask us.
Three things, on one screen, on your phone: tells you where every machine is, warns you when something's about to need service, and logs the hours each unit actually ran. You stop guessing, stop chasing crew leaders for runtime numbers, and stop getting surprised by breakdowns on Tuesday mornings.
Anything with a motor that vibrates when it runs. Zero-turn and walk-behind mowers, skid steers, mini-excavators, compactors, generators, pumps, trenchers, hardscape saws, pressure washers, ATVs/UTVs. If it's gas-powered and not on a standard truck telematics platform, we built this for it.
Five minutes per machine. Peel the backing, press it onto a clean flat spot, and it's reporting before you walk back to the truck. No wiring, no teardown, no IT setup, no operator app to install. Your crews don't have to do anything different.
Honestly — nothing prevents a determined thief. What EquipSense changes is what happens after. A trailer that walks off Saturday night usually ends up at a chop shop by Tuesday. With EquipSense on every unit, you know it's moving the moment it crosses your geofence — and you know exactly where it stops. Without GPS, industry recovery rate sits around 25%. With it, recovery becomes the rule.
Pilot units ship to operators across Birmingham and the Southeast in Summer 2026, with general availability Q4 2026.
One monthly per-unit subscription that covers everything — the device, the cellular connection, the app, updates, support. No surprise fees, no separate data plans, no extra integration charges. Final pricing is published at launch.
Yes to both. Your data is encrypted from the device all the way to your phone. We use SOC 2-aligned infrastructure with access scoped to your business only. You own your data — export the full history any time, no lock-in, no proprietary format.
